This story tells the harrowing tale of a kitten who was saved from being thrown in the trash and given a home alongside a community of street cats, all of whom have no home and were all too happy to help their feline friend in need.

It is not often that we come across such sad stories of cats being put in terrible conditions, usually their street lives are tough enough on their own. But in this case we feel fortunate to hear about one kitten who was put in a terribly dangerous situation, and in the nick of time saved and given a much better life than she could have ever hoped for herself.

For once her brave rescuer had gotten her hands on the kitten she decided she would bring it home with her to live amongst the many other cats that she has also saved and still feeds. Hoping that the cat community would take on this tiny feline and help it survive its early days. And with a good bit of luck that is exactly what happened. A happy ending for a story that started in the saddest of ways.

  • Holy guacamole what a situation to step into. Kids, they follow the example that they are set and it is truly tough to come from the outside and challenge said example. After all, they likely highly value the people who set such an example for them. But when it comes to stopping animal cruelty, you simply have to do what you have to do. There is no second chance, there is no do over, once an animal has been hurt in such a way, they will forever be terrified of hoomans. Thank goodness this brave cat lover stepped in and stopped that from happening.

  • Honestly, it does not come as too much of a surprise to us that this kitten was accepted into this rescuer’s gang of cats. After all, they are all in the same boat, homeless, hungry and dependent on the kind and generous hooman who had saved them from starvation. When you foster that kind of community you can imagine that kindness will be something that will remain at the forefront. Nonetheless, we can imagine the fear that this woman must have felt when introducing this defenseless kitten to her pack of feral felines. When cats do not like someone they are not afraid to express their displeasure, both verbally and physically. And their expression is only amplified when it is another cat that they do not like the look of.
